Happened to me not long ago - It was high water and REALLY slowly falling.... I flushed - It came up to where loo seat touches rim (lol rim) and then with a held breath it went down super fast.

Gave me a heart attack that did.

One time i flooded my toilet. Except the water never came back after it flooded. NEW BATHROOM FTW!

Really you don't know how to deal with this?

Yank off the top, and hold the float so water stops going into the bowl until the tank re-fills.

If water level is so high that you are gonna splash it everywhere when you plunge wait a few hours and it will very slowly go down. Close lid and put a sign not to use then come back in an hour or so... Use plunger and flush more often.

Yank off the top, and hold the float so water stops going into the bowl until the tank re-fills.

If water level is so high that you are gonna splash it everywhere when you plunge wait a few hours and it will very slowly go down. Close lid and put a sign not to use then come back in an hour or so... Use plunger and flush more often.

Our toilet has been screwed for a loooong time. My dad had to go on the roof with a metal snake thing to clear out the tube thing.
We installed a new floater thing a few months back because it had started to double flush. I'm not messing around with it again, the thing is jinxed.
