Thought it was another hole for the fuel lol. I thought tow hooks hooked on the undercarriage?
I think it's a front vehicle sensor. Like how some cars have a sensor that tells you how close you are to any object behind you when going in reverse... this does the same thing when going forward.
most likely a spot for a fog light on a different trim level.
Rather then spending the money to create different molds they do that, then just cut them out if there will be lights in that place.

What car is that anyway?
Did you run over a squid recently?

I go with one of these two answers...VicktorVauhn wrote:

its actually for towing, the sensors are inside the bumper and dont need their own holes
Thank you.gatorlova wrote:

Yea it's sensors. My sister has a Honda odyssey and it looks just like that on the bumper. It also has 17 cup holders..lol.HurricaИe wrote:

Edit:
Hmm.. maybe not exactly, but similar.:

My mom's BMW... it cost a lot of cash, yet there are two small cupholders in front with not always functional closing mechanisms, and I can't remember where the rear cupholders are
My dad's SUV has a lot of cup holders but each time he has to refuel that thing, 10 children die spontaneously
My friend's dad's BMW has two cupholders in front, and to use the one closer to the rear passengers requires keeping the armrest up. Fail.
This seems appropriate for this thread as well, so I'll ask it.

What, pray tell, is this circle on the front bumper of the Carrera GT, if it's not the tow hook mentioned above?

I hate to admit it but my sis's mini van is nice . At least the interior is. Voice activated nav, rear cameras, heated seats, bluetooth, surround sound/dvd player.HurricaИe wrote:

Yeah, minivans are pretty damn nice inside. And on the exterior, well, they're a hell of a lot better than the soccer mom-mobiles of the 90sKmarion wrote:

Besides you don't see that in a Corvette or an M3 because you should be focused on either driving or picking up hot chicks, not watching a DVD although you can get heated seats, voice activated nav, rear view cameras, and bluetooth. I know some BMWs have an HUD for the driver... pretty badass.
Her husband drives an x3 (it has bluetooth and all that stuff). I'm always telling him that's for girls and midgets. I'd drive her minivan, providing I could get a dark enough tint .HurricaИe wrote:

Get an M5, they're sexy and they can beat Gallardos (and have the aforementioned HUD)
Unfortunately you're on your own with the whole 'paying' thing

Frankly I'd love to get a motorcycle, a BMW one... only downside is the fact that there are more motorbike fatalities than automobile fatalities. Like, three times the accident rate.
It said it was tuned at youtube... not sure exactly.

So like 3 people have confidently claimed 3 different answers to the OP's original question. Who is right?
It's a fucking tow hook, people.
If it was a fog light, there would be more than one in the front, and it would be below the front bumper.

Now go look in your spare tire well.
