The pic barely shows anything with out knowledge of the car it will be hard to say...

HOWEVER it looks more like the thing in the picture is part of the mold of the bumper. If it was molded into the bumber, the sensor would be placed behind it. If the sensor is placed behind it, they don't need to mold something into the front of the bumper for it...

The pictures that DO show sensors are all much smaller, and not part of the bumper mold but a piece that fits into a small hole in the bumper.

Is there a second one mirrored on the other side of the bumper?

Nope...

I really doubt that would be for a tow hook, and that pic looks more like its not part of the bumper... so I would go sensor.

Well even more googling shows no relevant results for honda fit bumper sensor so.... I have no idea.

Srsly, I don't know from time to time if I work in a prison complex or for MI6 or just another IT company. When I come to the office, I have to open the gate with my keycard to get in the garage. Then a huge damn turnstile. Then a door. Then through another door to enter a mantrap and to stand still. Exit the mantrap. Up the stairs. Another door. And yet one more. The funny part is if I get here before 7am I have to punch in my code when I go through those doors. Takes forever to enter the place. Oh, and we have pretty barred up windows with a beautiful view to the yard which is surrounded by a fence topped with barbwire. But then again it's not that hard to get to the yard since there's a couple rabbits from time to time having a biology display for us. Good for laughs. Oh, and the windows are mirrored so you can't see what is happening inside. Wonder when we're going to get rectal scanners and armpit sensors n stuff
