well, i just earned this son of a bitch today and i'm damn proud.  after switching teams less than 20 times to do it, i can say it is entirely possible to get fairly and legitimately.

look for 16 player servers as the rounds go by pretty quickly so it's easy to rack up wins.  also, since there's only 8 people on a team, all it takes is a squad of two or three good players to turn the tide in your favor.

to anyone going for this ribbon, good luck.  it took me a couple months of working solely for it to obtain, but it's definitely worth it.

nooooooooooo... Don't make me get this ribbon just to prove I can...

Its really really easy on EASG servers. The autobalance is screwed so i can get wins all night long if I want too. Most of the time though I can't be bothered.

Perfect advice.
I used the same method to get my medal.  The thing is, you have to do what it takes to win and not to rack up points.  So if your team needs AT, then spawn AT and not Medic because its easier to get points.

Ill soon have this ribbon, I play with the same people all the time, and we almost always win.  I use teamspeak with them too, so that really helps.  Personally I don't think it is that hard, if you just start playing with the same people all the time, and they are good players too, you will probably win the round.

When I have been going for this ribbon, I am commander a LOT.  I spot out the enemies that are trying to cap some out of the way place, and my buddies would go take them out.  Thus preventing them from having flags; then we win.

The worst part is that it is almost in reach.....I could get it if I camped 16 player servers as commander for 500 wins..... but that would take way too much time.

Oh well, I guess I can just go for more expert badges then.
If you're too lazy to do what it takes to get the ribbon, then quit your bitching.

I've been working since the beginning of december and I've raised my win/loss ratio by .87 in that amount of time.  I assume it will take another month or two to get the WCR, but when I do I'll be pretty amped because its the only ribbon I do not have.

Call me a teamswitcher if you want, I don't care.  Point is - if you're not willing to do what it takes to earn what is easily a difficult badge, shut your trap.

ok, had to check it out as unfortunatly as far as the gaming world is concerned I play very little of BF2.  Has work, friends, and hobbies outside of this so can maybe squeeze in an hour or two every other day tops.  But ever since I noticed the quals for the WCR I started heading towards it and am glad that I started early.  Sofar this is what Ive learned, A)16 player maps a must, even better a 16 player map that has settings set for 40 players...rounds go by in like 5 minutes.  B)A good commander does turn the tide, but in a 16 player map you have to fight too.  C) FUCK TEAM SWITCHING....sorry about the language but its pointless, you waste more time trying to switch teams where as if you where fighting you would have probably helped your side win.  Has team swapped like 5 times since I started going for the ribbon.  D) this one is important for all you trying to figure out how the hell to quit without a loss....quit as soon as the match ends, when it starts playing that little victory music crap.  If you get out before the ticker starts counting down saying "You will join the game in X seconds" you wont get an additional loss.  Ive been told if you are in a server less then 5 minutes you will not get a loss but Ive gotten many where I was only in game for less then a minute.  Lastly, for all those gamers out there that only play on and off...I've gone from a 1.22 win/loss to a 1.64 win/loss in 9 days....so figure at my current playing rate sometime near the end of February I will get it.  Im sure if I said screw everything else I would have it in less then a week...but come on there is so much more to do then just play video-games.  Anyways, thats my tid-bit and sorry if I repeated anything as Im sure I did.

Oh yeah, quick 2 things to add to my last, this ribbon has been given out to less then 200 people in all of BF2.  That and dont play drunk.... ...made that mistake and racked up a nice 13 loss streak in a row...and that for anyone counting means I need 39 wins without a loss to get back to where I was

I know a good way to get it...just create a new account, always try to be commander on every server you go to, then leave just before your team loses.  Only stay for the wins.  You could pick up 50 hours as commander and then finish out 3 winning rounds.  Hey, it's cheap, but you'd have an easy 3:1 win:loss ratio.

You receive loses if you leave and your side loses.  Trust me on this one..
