Hey guys ...

I'm seriously considering replacing my micro-monitor with an LCD ... most likely a 22" widescreen but I would settle for a 19 or 20", and I would like very good quality & reliability.  I'm very price sensitive.

My baseline is the Viewsonic X Series VX2255WMB (22", fully adjustable, 5ms response, DVI, 3 year warranty ... I could care less about the mic/camera/speakers).   Newegg's delivered price after rebate is $240.

Any other quality recommendations that you have experience with?

I've got a 226BW (basically the same thing) and it's wonderful. A few other people here have the 2253BW so they can probably tell you their experience and if it's different.

Pretty much the same price too after rebate, with a higher (or lower?) response time.

Viewsonic is a reputable company, they make excellent monitors.  I had a Viewsonic flat-screen CRT and it was great.  I'm sure the one you picked out is fine.  Cheap too.

My viewsonic kinda sucks TBH... Its a CRT, and if you turn it on its base the color distorts slightly until you cycle its power...
then again it was pretty damn bottom of the line.

Heres a nice review on the Viewsonic you are considering. You might wanna read it if you haven't already.

So, basically; Samsung, ViewSonic or the high end BenQs.
