I finally remembered another think that pissed me off about Jurassic Park. Whenever the guy would say "Stand still" when they're in front of a T-rex those morons would run.

And Jesus Christ, shifty, they were scared shitless, their instinct was telling them to run. I don't know if you realized this, but that was done intentionally, y'know, for portraying how the characters are. Actions speak louder than words. You've got the guy who is calm and logical and isn't overcome with fear and knows enough about dinosaurs to know the right thing to do. The others don't know anything and are scared beyond belief, they're not going to care what other people are telling them to do, they're gonna fucking run.
That's right, not everyone in a movie can be a fearless marine carrying an m16 and can shoot and instantly kill anything that moves.

So many things I would have done differently in that movie, especially the second one.
I would only travel during the day for starters, and hide in the trees or better yet IN the trees at night. They had like 30 men armed with fully automatic rifles and hunting rifles, shotguns and tranquilizer. You hide in dense trees the big ones can't get to you, you hide 10ft off the ground the smaller ones can't get you either.
It's like the dinosaurs were smart and the humans were dumb.
Don't bash me, just tell me what you would do and why, if wrong, my statements aren't good ideas.
EDIT: As mentioned before I'm glad the raptors were the size they were in the movie, because it would sort of fail if they were the real size.
