Knight and Day: tom cruise is a fudge packer/10
But seriously, it's ok, in a True Lies quasi chick-flick fashion.

Cruz was really good, apart from that it didn't quite meet my expectations.

Tooth Fairy: 7 awful puns out of 10
For a mass-production Disney family flick, it's actually tolerable and can sometimes be funny. Julie Andrews and the uncredited (lol) Billy Crystal did a good job as support-cast.

Skyline 7/10
Not amazing, definitely slow at times, but the military parts are pretty bad-ass.
Spoiler (highlight to read):
Like when the bomber's trying to nuke the mothership(?) with all the drones protecting it and it JUST makes it in time to fire the nuke
Also, Legend of the Guardians 8/10
Quite a cool film considering it's based on owls. These motherfuckers are pretty awesome, especially when they all start fighting and shit. Visual effects are beyond amazing.
Both films watched in DVD quality, though, with the GF.

Skyline
2/10
Spoiler (highlight to read):
jesus fuck, what the hell was that bullshit. what I thought would be on the same level as D9, it was just some bullshit hybrid of crysis 2, but 20 years earlier and a shittier copy of district 9. to improve it, they couldve at the very least, used better actors. they were fucking shit. and who wrote the dialogue? and the plot? fucking hell, that was so fucking cring-worthy - shit goes down so survivors rant between themselves and it highlights the social issues yadda yadda yadda. thats been done trillions of times. I was looking forward to what i thought would be a story revolving around a military unit, since isnt that what the whole 5 second preview showed? fucking hell, biggest waste of my fucking time (despite the fact that i have nothing else to do). i wouldve prefered to watch paint dry.
dont fucking bother with this worthless piece of trash

Meh, I enjoy films more than you lot, it seems.

If you want to see a true <2/10, check out 2010 by Faith Films.
what? you 'enjoy' films because your taste/criticism is piss-poor?FFLink wrote:

nice logic
that's like saying somebody 'enjoys' music more when all they listen to is x-factor material

That's like saying the crazies was anything above 5/10
For shame pos/ghetto.

20 minutes into The Town, and it's awesome, but the chick from Gossip Girl cannot do an accent to save her life.
Tyson (9.5/10)
Very good documentary about Mike Tyson (one of the best), he pretty much explains everything.

Pretty damn good, but it's not the Departed.

Vanilla Sky (again)
10/10
I re-watched it to get an even better grasp of the film, and picked up on so many things that I didn't (nor would anybody who only sees it once) on the first viewing, Tom Cruise is a brilliant actor, even if he is a fruit loop irl.

Indeed.
If he thinks everything is 7/10+ then he enjoys nearly everything he watches

You don't have to hate movies to enjoy [or appreciate] them. Most of the stuff I've watched recently I've given a number near 7 to, but I've watched so many movies that my expectations don't soar much higher than what I'm used to from one genre or the other.
I am taking Kustav's approximation of Skyline to heart, though, and will probably just rent it. The trailer did make it seem like it would be centered around the military, not a bunch of whiny people and their social issues.
