Two days ago i bought skate and a new controller. i cant get the controller to connect to my xbox. anyone know how to do it?
top of the controller there should be a little signal button Press that at the same time as you press the button with the same symbol on your xbox.
yes it's always a problem to connect your controller with the xbox for the first time, just make sure you have a free day or evening or something so you have enough time to do this. first you press the white button on the xbox just next to the memory units, it has a small logo like this: ))) next to the button. if you now check your controller between the RB and the LB button you can see the same button in miniature. first you try this: first xbox then controller, then both at the same time and then first controller then xbox after a few hours they should be connected. That's quite complicated for something that should be fairly simple. Poor design (not going to mention ps2 or fanboyism. just saying) imo.

You have no idea how long it took me and my mate to hook his PS3 controller to another PS3.TheAussieReaper wrote:

Xbox is simple, press the two buttons (front of console and controller), then it works.

took me about 3 1/2 seconds to set mine up
It's extremely simple...
Press the button on the console so the light starts spinning, then press the one on the controller. They should then flash one after the other and then be connected.

I think you have to link it up by USB, hit the button so it registers, then ta-da.Mint Sauce wrote:

I have never had a problem with this. If it doesn't connect, I just hold the big X-logo button and it works after 3-5 seconds.
If it doesn't work, the batteries are dead.

complicated? its two buttons... what if you have two xbox's in the same room? you have to sync the controllers to a specific xbox. you press the sync button on the xbox then you press the same button on the controller. done.TheAussieReaper wrote:
