I am really fed up! I have a co-worker. This co-worker happens to be a hermaphrodite. I know this because he (as he identifies himself) told me so. The reason I am fed up is that this co-worker pays the exact same amount per week (12 dollars) as all the rest of our co-workers. It's not fair! He has a penis, a vagina, testicles, ovaries, and breasts and they are all being protected at the same rate as my 1 set of sexual organs. Thats not equal, thats not fair. This is just like feminists, demanding equality but expecting superiority. I went to my boss yesterday and demanded that my co-worker pay at an elevated rate, or I get double coverage on my penis. If this co-worker gets cancer, which is obviously twice as likely, it's going to have to be paid straight out of the wallets of my fellow coworkers. I am really peeved.

I believe the disadvantages ( socially, culturally, etc ) that come with being a hermaphrodite far outweigh the "adavantages" with regard to health insurance that you have "observed".

What if one of your co workers had a penis twice as big as yours...would you demand that he pay more because he's got twice as much penis to look after as you?
If I found out someone had went behind my back in the office and demanded I pay more health insurance I'd make full sure they'd be calling in their own health insurance in the near future.

Try calming down before posting, I think your just nit-picking here I doubt there are that many hermaphrodites about there? The company you work for wouldn't waste time taking it into their policy because in general people wouldn't find it such a big deal that he/she pays the standard rate.

Well erm I really don't know anything about that affirmative action please explain and how this applies to this? Well if you company decided to charge him 5 times as much as you because the amount of sexual organs it would be in the papers some people would be outraged.
Your boss wouldn't have many happy emails with the topic "Yeah you showed that freak with a penis and vagina!!!"
So your co-worker would have to pay 60 dollars a week on health insurance that's a bit much really, especially for something your never really expected to use.
Besides its not like all you and the rest of your co-workers have the same level of health, should we round up the fatties and tell them to pay an extra few bucks or maybe find out about the health of everyone's family tree and charge them according to any heredity ailments there are going to be getting in a few years.
