Few Questions:
How come the blackhole was at the Core of the Earth? Surely it would be close the the surface where the LHC is....?
Why did it widen/grow as said above..
Why did the Earth go through the hole at just one point....I'm no Stephen HAwing but surely matter would enter at all angles meaning the entire earth would go in a matter of seconds...
Still, i fell very after watchign that...

Ugh... I know it won't happen... But I hope it doesn't.

Sucks, huh?
I am strangely aroused by that
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
Yeah, but if all goes well, that won't be for around 60-70 years.kptk92 wrote:

I've only just lived a quarter of that

It wouldn't be anything like that...
I'm sure freezer can tell you exactly what kind of paraphilia that sort of thing is categorized as.max wrote:

This thread is racist...

It probably should be.Sgt.Davi wrote:

It didn't, it looked as if it did because it was only pulling from one side of the Hole, which (probably, I'm no expert) shouldn't've happened in the first place.Sgt.Davi wrote:

pretty cool video, but absolutely ridiculous
the even horizon of a star... like 4x the Sun's mass is like a mile in diameter (could be wrong, it's been a long time since i looked it up)
starting from a subatomic black hole it would take quite some time for it go gain any mass to even come close to affecting matter of a scale other than quantum, it would go quite that fast...

lulz, physics noobs
even if a micro black hole formed (highly improbable, the CERN is nowhere near as energetic as a supernova) it would immediately dissipate, black holes radiate energy in the non visible spectrum, and this consumes matter, much faster than a hole so small could build up mass (it would have to physically impact any objects, as it would have no gravitational field)

Because matter/energy cannot be created or destroyed it's not the end of the world.
Just life as we know it.
Just life as we know it.

Omg We All Gona Die!!!?!?1?!!!!

can anyone explain to me why (in supermassive black holes specifically) you get this jetstream of matter being ejected?
exactly why?Airwolf wrote:

not even a doctorate in quantum mechanics and astrophysics could allow me to do that.
something to do with matter becoming superheated upon contact with the surface
something along the lines of matter is hyperaccelerated as it approaches the event horizon, and eventually its velocity approaches the speed of light and it is blasted out along the axis of rotation of the black hole, from just beyond the edge of the event horizonS.Lythberg wrote:

the stuff on the edges isn't going in at a good angle, so instead of falling in it bounces off the other gas and get thrown outward

Kind of. Matter can be changed to energy in a nuclear reaction. It's how the bombs work.TheAussieReaper wrote:

However, as of yet we haven't found a way to change energy in to matter. Would be kinda cool if/when we can.
