Hey all I am running a 24/7 Sharqi server. The server will be run similar to the US server launched on BF2s (24/7 Sharqi) but run in the UK

Nice will look into it better than all the stupid shit karkand infantry servers people post.

I would say take out the unpopular maps like Clean Sweep and Kubra Dam. Keep about 5-6 popular maps on get your numbers up then slowly add the interesting maps into the rotation.

EDIT: not all people like big servers due to lag/spam ect, from my experiance full 32-40 slot servers are the best.

Does it matter? Its a community not a clan... Im just offering the BF2s members a chance to admin a server for themselves + have fun in a well admind server.

That rule and "No cussing" turns me away from the server.  The no more than 2 waiting just seems like a silly rule, and I'm getting overly tired of seeing "No Cussing!" in servers nowadays.  Isn't the game meant for an older audience?  Not children?  Tired of seeing clan friends being kicked for saying "Shit nice shot!" and the like.

I'm talking about the auto admin, where it kicks for people saying cuss words.  My server autoadmin only kicks people for saying racist words, and the word 'faggot'.. lol.. I hate that word.. and usually it comes out of the mouths of 12 year olds with anger issues.

We would like to have more maps as well, but you will see that most players stick to 24/7 servers, so if you are going to run a server on full you should have at least 5-6 other dedicated members who are ready to idle on it almost every day. I doubt that there you will find some. And giving admin rights to whoever wants it?

I would stay idle in the server most days if it had a decent rotation.

Thats basically saying that you can kill an enemy heli over its UCB whilst its going to repair, but if it turns to fire..you can no longer shoot back??

Id love to see this work, but we've tried so many times on the EU server with anything non-wake or karkand 24/7, and other maps just clear the server out. Even 24/7 IO Songhua was more popular than our mixed map rotations... (and that was ).
