since the sargean major has all the tier 1 unloncked,do you think it might be possible to get the 2 next unlock for free (just instaling the patch and playing a round)

You should get one at Sgt Major and one at 2nd Lt. since they are lowering the req's
there adding more ranks so no, not at sgt major
I would figure, they will give additional unlocks... The SF unlocks were given with a 2 Rank difference since the SF unlocks were two down. Now they are evening up. In order to give all the same chance to get the unlocks, I figure, they will give them out free to higher ranking players as they did with SF in general (would not be fair if a lance corporal would get the new toys for free while the Sergeant Major would have to wait ages for them
yes only if u have special forces but if ur a sergeant major and u have etc 70k points and u buy SPECIAL FORCES then u will b given a choice of 3 unlocks frm special forcesstryyker wrote:

I'm Sergeant Major and got 2 unlocks. Atm I can only have Jackhammer and MP-7. I don't need both as a standard shotgun is good enough for me. I'm waiting for new weapons for AT and sniper. But if EA makes more ranks I'll get higher rank and probably more unlocks anyway.. But who knows.. Just in cases I'm not gonna unlock anything now.

I can unlock 2 weapons now (MP-7 and Jackhammer). Do u think I better wait for new AT and sniper ones (coming with new patch / booster pack)? IMHO Jackhammer is not better than standard shotguns.

Its about time there was some more ranks the gap from sergant major to 2nd thingy is crazy. 99.9% will never get there
But I've heard that with new patch we can expect more ranks.. Maybe with patch 1.2 u will get Sergeant Major after 30.000, not 50.000 like it is now.. We will see..FrEaK wrote:

I've been promoted to 1st Sergeant today and had 3 available choices and 2 unlocks: MP7,PKM or SCAR-L.
I only unlocked the MP7 because I always wanted to have it for engineer and I'm keeping the other unlock for later so I can get the new sniper unlock - because if you really have to get promoted for it as a regular unlock I'm f-ed in the a if I would use my unlock now,30000 points is a long road to go.

Now, should there be special weapons unlocks for the higher ranks (after all, this is the thought of our thread initiator)? Sure. If folks are going to work hard to accrue points then by all means give them the respect that they are due. Right now the only perk to having a high score is command priority and that should be reserved for ME!!!
