Using battlerecorder, I loaded up Operation Clean Sweep single player to practice my bombing. When looking at the playback at 5% speed, i caught this little gem:

you dont really enable it, its more like you just create your own demo.

While in SP, open console and type
demo.recordDemo clip1 <<<clip1 is the name of your demo, type whatever you want.
to stop
demo.stopRecording
