2. Well I admit that as soon as I saw the thread title I was on the lookout for insta-usa replies.
3. Just examples of the bigger picture I have seen on this forum, the rest of the internet, and on TV. (Geez, I'm the one being ignorant, since I haven't met a single American in real life)
Anyway, when I see an American write something about America with the word free or freedom in the sentence I automaticlly slam my face into my desk.

America's technology started equal to what Europe had at the time, not like you had to start from scratch at stone age again.
