Before somebody posts "He's right you stupid liberal," please look at a map.

McCain is just making it easier for Obama to catch up in foreign policy experience.

neh... slip of the tongue, or old age, or both...  if you want an old man to be commander in chief, he's your man.
It'll all depend on who will be his VP, because that will be the person who will take control.

Doesn't sound like the type of strong and capable leader that should hold the presidency.

Correct. Policy is not made by one man alone, certainly not when that man is not very bright to say the least. But the weaker the man on top is, the stronger the people underneath him will become. Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld & Co. have made that clear.

So mccain makes a slip of the tongue and its a big deal.  obama tells them not to wear green due to terrorist colors and it is nothing to talk about.  I see which way this forum leans.  fair and balanced tbh.

That was posted already.  You don't vote anyway.  Why do you care?

I lost some respect for you marine when you told us you didn't vote. Especially when I thought you were just as passionate about the Presidency as your posts here.

There are just as many right-wing leaning posters on here as there are left-wing leaning posters so dry your eyes usmarine...there is no liberal-biased media conspiracy on a forum like this (unless moderators are going around deleting right-wing biased threads and sources unbeknown to me).  If you want to chat about Obama's rather idiotic policy on the colour green then start a thread about it...I'm sure the Schittloaf's and Thorax's of this world would love to chip in their ten cents.

What this latest McCain clip shows is that he is yet another idiot who will perpuate the negative stereotype of the stupid, war-mongering, neo-con who lacks any geographical knowledge but we all knew that anyway. This won't change most voter's opinions, only the ones who possess the capability of critical thought.

So obvious response.  I think as a citizen you can go and vote or you should stfu if you don't.  That was my point.

It was a mere slip of the tongue.  It's not like he said the "troop surge is a mistake" and then was proved wrong... Didn't Obama say that?  And now he wants a troop surge in Afghanistan?  lame.

I was thinking irony really.

So you're giving someone crap about posting because they care about the topic but don't vote?  You post because you care and can't vote, right?

Do you see it yet?

Hardly irony.  He's bashing Obama in a post about McCain, yet he said he doesn't vote.  He has the civil obligation to vote, not legally though.  We foreigners, talk about the US government because the decisions made in the oval office affect not only the US but the whole world, so I don't see the irony.  When Argentinian citizens that don't vote talk about how the government is doing this or that I told them to stfu coz they didn't vote, and I hate the government, but I did vote for other candidate.

This has nothing to do with Argentina.  This has nothing to do with civil obligation to vote.

See here: I don't think I'm going to vote this year.  Why?  The pros and cons of both candidates cancel themselves out.  So I don't see a big difference between the candidates.  I'm not going to "coin flip" just to say I voted.  BTW my candidate got beat by Obama.

So I probably won't vote...does that mean I can't care about a topic?  And more specifically, does that mean I can take crap from someone who's in the same situation as me? - An Argentinian who cares about the topic but can't vote?

I would say if you're going to argue along those lines...maybe you need to tell yourself to stfu.

My opinion on this matter has been stated before - Obama is a media darling.  He is not a good speaker and in my opinion, he's given more leeway than other candidates.  Which is exactly what marine said.

Like him or not, I'd have thought it'd have been pretty hard to say he's a bad speaker. Especially when you consider he's a Presidential candidate; who for some reason as a general rule all seem to be phonetically challenged.

That's a good point.  You don't get to be a candidate without having some ability in that department.  So what I meant was Obama isn't as polished as McCain or Clinton.

The thing about these types of threads is - Jesus couldn't run for president without criticism.
