In the video, a man identified as Commander Seyfullah says the group aims "to target the most critical points related to the Olympics."

"We will try to attack Chinese central cities severely, using the tactics that have never been employed," he says, according to a translation provided by IntelCenter, a terrorism research firm based in Alexandria, Va.

I am sure the Chinese police are well trained to deal with any situation that arises. What do you guys think?

Thinking the same, and it doesn't have anything to do with the fact that I was playing Gens all last night.

But China is repressive of religion so it wouldn't surprise me if such an attack did occur.

I wuld normally agree with you. However, Islam is much much more than a mere religion. It is a culture and a life style. It is damn near associated with being a race. So the question still stands, when you hear of a bomb blowing up, do you associate it instantly with Islam.

I would normally agree with you. However, Islam is much much more than a mere religion. It is a culture and a life style. It is damn near associated with being a race. So the question still stands, when you hear of a bomb blowing up, do you associate it instantly with Islam? Because I am quite certain when you hea of a bomb going off in an Idian market place, you are not thinking of the IRA
