Bradleys #1
I concur
doesn't it take alot of time to get all the sand/mud/shit out of wherever the hell it gets during maintenance? I gathered they really really hate it, especially the vehicles who haven't got treads.
oh god yes.
worst part of bradley maintenance I ever did was when I was a new boot and I wasnt even mounted and they still made me help the mounted with cleaning. We had just come back from a 45 day field problem in the middle of a Texas winter. I had to go underneath the brad with a hammer and flat tip screw driver and chisel the mud that turned into concrete in the inside of the road wheels and arms pebble by pebble. Very stressful.
When I was mounted though I became a master at changing track and track pads. Able to pull off and replace both side of a brad with just one other soldier in a little bit over 4 hours. Usually takes around 8 hours with a squad of people. I turned it into a science. fucking sucks and you will always end up with a bradley bite.
