You pay top HECS to get your degree, earn heaps less than your mate that did business,law, engineering, even teaching, and if you are in research you can forget job security.There is so much lack of scientists that at UNSW the UAI requirement for some randie course is like 70.99 or something

Yep, the hours are crazy, and it's only going to get worse (I'm asian too, so I can say it ), but do you attend uni?
