If one is stabbing or shooting someone, there is either intent to kill or no reason to be doing it. Besides, I'm not one to care what would be more fun to use when the other will do the job better. And eff off with your boxcutters.

Personally, if I wanted to really cause someone pain, I'd just illuminate him. And by 'illuminate', I mean 'set on fire'.

Death by fire is quite possibly one of the most painful deaths one could think of.
