I'm looking for tonfa weapons that are blades instead of sticks but am still yet to find them, those are my favorite weapons.

It's a display sword. "REAL" swords are combat ready. If you want to get ONE genuine katana from japan, made using traditional methods, you're looking at 25k - 50k USD per sword. I have a set of display katanas which I got for like 50 dollars. On the surface they look real, but they're quite flimsy cause the construction wasn't genuine.

i remember some program did a test on the cutting/slicing ability of a proper katana.

so they got some big bamboo shit, which they worked out to be as durable as a humans waist.

the katana went clean through it, not even with that much power behind

WWII Japanese shin gunto. Nothing particularly special about it besides its excellent condition. No rust and the edge has never been sharpened(destroyed) by some ham-handed gaijin.

yeah, these swords you guys have probably wouldn't last a minute against a real sword, they would more than likely snap, correctly tempered swords cost a LOT of money as in £500 upwards each. You have to heat and hammer the sword upwards of 50-60 times to get it very strong.

$25,000 minimum for an authentic japanese sword set afaik. Apparently you have to spend a month in Tokyo with the firm that sells them to prove that you are of the proper character to own one or they wont sell to you.
