Despite missing the playoffs (barely), the Bucs were a huge shocker. Remember they came off of a 3-13 season last year and went 10-6. That is a big swing. They've got a lot of young names to watch in the coming years. They're going to have a tough squad once it all starts clicking.
Coaching.

Your coach (forgot his name) is INCREDIBLY confident. Confidence wins games no matter what anybody says.

Rex has a team that's capable of winning the Super Bowl BELIEVING they are Super Bowl contenders this year. All the shit talk, all the trash talking... it helps. It does.

Raheem Morris is actually humble (despite the misrepresented comment about being the best in the league). But yea, you cant attribute a turn around like that without giving the coach some credit. However, three individual (young) players names stick out.. Freeman, Blount, and Williams. I'd definitely be willing to bet on their future.

Well, all I can say is, a recent survey of NFL players came out and Rex Ryan was the coach that most NFL players wanted to play for. In a landslide.

And he's honestly not THAT great of a coach, either.

I'm not doubting the confidence factor. .. so long as it doesn't slip into arrogance and taking teams lightly.

Good, jets will be easier than the patriots if bears make it.

lol.  you obviously don't know what you're talking about.  we beat them back when they were healthy.  then we barely lost in a game where the packers were in playoff mode, the bears were in a we don't give a fuck mode, and we were in lambeau field.  its ok though, the bears are used to ignorant "experts" trying to tell them that they're always going to lose
never said i was an expert but the packers have momentum, bears don't.  had the bears blown past seattle, I'd be more impressed, but they just fell apart in the second half.
I have noticed that bears tend to play more along the lines to the level of their team they're facing. If they face a good team they do good, if they face a bad team they do bad. Not always the case but that has happened a few times. I think the bears kindof gave up on the 4th quarter and figured they were gonna win anyway.

After years and years of watching the nfl I actually learned something new last night. I didn't know they count you down if your wrist touched the ground. I don't know why but for some reason I though it was the elbow up. Thank god for the steelers kicker.

that comment wasn't misrepresented, he meant it and believed in it.  he's a cocky head coach.  they had an interview with morris and he said he attributes his cockiness to where he grew up in irvington, new jersey.

2 garbage time td's for Seattle. You would expect an 8-9 team to be overmatched by the 2 seed at home. Now the Bears get to have their asses kicked by the Pack.

I really fucking hope the Steelers wipe the floor with the Jets, I'd hate to have to root for the Packers to win the Super Bowl.

35/24 against a team that entered the playoffs at 7 & 9, and at that, it could have gone either way. WTG, Bears. Seattle has to endure some pretty spiteful and condescending rhetoric from the rest of the NFL. People should give the 'Hawks at least some credit for getting as far as they did with the season they've had.

Can't say I blame them... most Jets fans as well as myself thought the same way.

For the Steelers game, I don't know. But you have to believe the Jets have a bigger momentum going for them. This was not like the win against the Chargers last year. This is much, much bigger.

again, did you watch the game?  the score doesn't mean anything considering the fact that the game was over at the end if the third quarter
