35/24 against a team that entered the playoffs at 7 & 9, and at that, it could have gone either way. WTG, Bears. Seattle has to endure some pretty spiteful and condescending rhetoric from the rest of the NFL. People should give the 'Hawks at least some credit for getting as far as they did with the season they've had.
again, did you watch the game?  the score doesn't mean anything considering the fact that the game was over at the end if the third quarter
did you see the end of the pats/jets game?

it's why you play the whole thing. but yeah, the last two seahawk scores were meaningless . . .
yes i did, and i was thinking the same thing during the end of the pats/jets game as i was during the end of the hawks/bears game.  sure, the patriots could have had a comeback, but the jets clearly outplayed them.  (maybe except for brady's last drive where he scored a touchdown)

they didn't lose until the onside kick was recovered. true, brady's no hasselback (or vice versa, whatever) but even though the jets outplayed them all game long, the pats weren't done until then. i'm sure posiedon shit a brick.

the bears game wasn't that close (sorry unnamednoob) but it goes to show that you have to put your foot on the neck of a playoff team. every single game.

that I did

and I agree with the notion that the Bears were not dominant in that entire game. It looked like they walked in like the Giants in the game against the Eagles that they gave up the lead and lost in.

And the Patriots were playing at their absolute best, too... both announcers both stated that. The Jets played their hearts out the entire game except that last Pats drive.

Coaching.

Your coach (forgot his name) is INCREDIBLY confident. Confidence wins games no matter what anybody says.

Rex has a team that's capable of winning the Super Bowl BELIEVING they are Super Bowl contenders this year. All the shit talk, all the trash talking... it helps. It does.
Raheem Morris is actually humble (despite the misrepresented comment about being the best in the league). But yea, you cant attribute a turn around like that without giving the coach some credit. However, three individual (young) players names stick out.. Freeman, Blount, and Williams. I'd definitely be willing to bet on their future.
that comment wasn't misrepresented, he meant it and believed in it.  he's a cocky head coach.  they had an interview with morris and he said he attributes his cockiness to where he grew up in irvington, new jersey.
Yes he believed it, he was talking about NFC records. Turns out he was technically wrong (Falcons). If you would have listened to morris week in and week out you would not have gotten a "cocky" impression. Yes a coach needs to be confident, and if he isn't then he shouldn't be coaching. In all honesty Raheem probably made that comment to the media to show his team that he believes in them. Nothing more.

I honestly dislike the attitude "we have this game won" so the other team can score some touchdowns. At least we won and the bears have more rest by letting seahawks score a couple touchdowns

Don't count the bears out, you are underestimating the bears like nearly every fucking person is. Not to mention we have homefield advantage and it'll be cold in Soldier Field and the packers are not a cold kind of team unlike the bears who are built for cold. Hell I remember a few years back the packers whined that they lost because it was so fucking cold for them.

I do hope to God the bears win for 2 reasons. More humiliating for the packers if they lose than the bears lose, and my oldest brother will come all the way from Seattle to watch the superbowl game and root for the bears, and I miss seeing my oldest brother. Right now I'm pumped for this game. A packer vs bears game is more important than a superbowl game, 2 big rivals facing eachother just to make it to the superball. Bears deserve to win more than the packers do anyway, they've only won 1 superbowl unlike the packers who won several superbowl games.

Did you just say the Packers aren't a cold weather team?? I laugh in your face. Teams deserving titles over another is funny too. Go back to looneyland.

Since I no longer have a team to support, all I can do is hope that the Steelers get trampled.

Holy fucking shit, you're as dumb as you make yourself look.

- The Packers AREN'T A COLD WEATHER TEAM? You're from Wisconsin and you're going to honestly tell me that the Packers aren't a cold weather team. Holy shit. Is that why they were 7-1 at home? Is that why, at New England with their backup QB, they only lost by 4 points? Wow. Mind boggling stupidity brought to you by the one guy everyone would figure it's from.

- Nobody is "underestimating the Bears". People think - for a very good reason - the Packers are the better built team. And they are. They have a superior offense, an astounding defense that held the incredible Atlanta offense to 2 TDs, and a QB who at this pace is going to make the HOF one day with his pinpoint accuracy.

- They deserve it more because they have less Super Bowl wins? Are you fucking kidding? lol yeah, the Giants "deserved it more" in 2007 for the sole reason that they hadn't won the Super Bowl in over 15 years. Don't worry about all the hard work the team has put in and the fact that nobody on the Bears or Packers roster was with the team when either of their teams won the Super Bowl - when you've won 3 Super Bowls, you "don't deserve it as much".

It's the terrain I'm referring to in soldier field, much more slippery than the packer stadium as I recall. Bears are much more accustomed to the slipperyness of their field than the packers are. Homefield advantage. Yes packers have a better offense than the bears, but bears have a better defense than the packers.

of the 4 teams, the packers are probably the easiest to root for. no favre, rodgers is quite humble and an incredible athlete (probably my favorite player in the NFL right now), great fans

jay cutler's a whiny bitch
the jets talk a lot of shit (although so far they've backed it up)
ben rapelisberger is a rapelisberger
