Building a pc for a friend.

He's buying his case somewhere else, $55
Rosewill 550w PSU $70 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6817182017

Leaves about $475 for mobo, cpu, and video card.

Was thinking E8400/E8500 and 4850/8800GT/8800GTS/9800GTX+ for the video card.

Depending on which one, leaves about $100 on a motherboard.

Any ideas?

A bit under 600 with mail-in rebates. With the case added it's a tad over. Excuse me for that, but this is a solid build. I would not pick a rosewill PSU, especially when this one is better and cheaper.
