My only issue with it really is that there are phones that are better that you can get with a contract for free. I don't see why you should pay for a phone on a contract. And I take it you didn't use the 'camera'? Because that should be on the cons list.
The camera's actually quite good, even though it's only 2.0 Megapixels.ghettoperson wrote:

Some pics I took in Florida:
The last one's not really to show the quality, I just thought it was cool because it looked like a mushroom cloud.
But yeah. The iPhone does the job for me. I don't need an amazing camera.
How long did you have to wait for one. I called up yesterday to the local AT&T and it is 10 to 20 days.
30 minutes on line in the Apple Store. There's 3 Apple stores near/semi-near me. I called up when I first decided to get it (around july 22nd) and all three said they didn't have them in stock...called up the following day and the one closest to me had it, but only the White 16gb and the Black 8gb. Went around 3:20 PM and got one of the last 20 they had.Scratch[USA] wrote:

Do NOT call AT&T stores. They NEVER have them in when Apple stores almost always do and get shipments daily. It's ridiculous.
Then you might as well just throw away your money. At least an iPod doesn't devalue 100% on the first day of ownership.CosmoKramer wrote:

I'm going to wait for a price drop, followed by newer models, etc because it's inevitable.
But imo it makes more sense to have an iPod and standard phone for a number of reasons.
The typical iPod holds much more data than 16gb and a phone that costs less than $500 is better than paying the $500 difference from the ipod touch to just get the iphone.
Meh, the iPhone isn't available in Iceland and I don't want to bother buying from another country. Bought an iPod touch 32GB instead, fucking thing is priced at $1087 in Iceland, bought it for $625 in Denmark though.
Going to buy a Nokia E51 or something for $425 as well, then I have a ipod touch and a good phone instead of an iphone

The iPhone is a very nice phone. Best one currently available. It's still overpriced (£99 is too much money for a phone, when all the competition is free) and the camera is still poor (and where's the option to record videos???), but other than that it's very nice. The 3G model fixed almost everything I complained about being wrong with the first one.
I sense somebody isnt giving love to the zune, and about the money i got a 2 year warranty, anything happens I take it wham bam thank you mamBernadictus wrote:
