yep, i did hear that they were in line for a silver though, i didnt see japan's coverage so i have no idea how they overtook us.

C1 and K1 is awesome to watch. It was also hilarious to see the guy from Togo breaking his paddle out of sheer joy after having won the first medal for that country ever. The gymnastics and swimming was pretty exciting to watch today. I also watched a bit of synchronized diving, it was insane and those North Korean girls looked like they were 10. Female weight lifting wasn't too special but one of them walked into a door after getting all emotional. Basketball and tennis were ghey (but then again I dislike those sports). Shooting was dull as usual and so was the football. The softball match (at least I think it was softball) was okay and the judo wasn't too shabby either. Jumping events bored me to tears though. Damn, I have too much time on my hands to be watching all of this.

I can't wait for track and field though.
