If people keep bitching about biased judges and home country advantage, then there shouldn't be gymnastics in the next Olympics.  srsly

And if I recall, that Serbian guy WAS pretty much crying when he lost to Phelps. They go over it multiple times yet he and his coach still went and bitched to the judges.

not even bias, its incompetence and a fucked up tiebreaking system. as i understand (i didnt see it), alicia got cheated out of bronze yesterday. and i mean cheated as in fucked over, not bias.

What's done is done and we'll see what happens after the Olympics are finished.

Judges events always have issues. I doubt that anything is rigged though, mostly because there is never more than one judge from each country ensuring that the judges don't show bias. The reason China's winning? There is so much pressure on Chinse athletes at this Olympics, already some have broken under the tremendous amount of training they've been made to put in - the Chinese hurdler yesterday being unable to compete is a recent and obvious example of this. As well as the insane amount of training they also get a home crowd benefit. Besides, as I'm sure I said before at the start of the games, they're used to the shit in the air while athletes from most other places are most likely hindered by it.

I'm not going to rule out any age violations in the gymnastics as they do all look very young but gymnasts always look younger than they really are and are generally small as well. Chinese gymnists? Why are people amazed that they're so small?
