I totally agree. I don't think it's fair that some bunch of judges decide who the winner is based on subjective opinions. If you can't win based on score, time, or position then GTFO.usmarine wrote:

Referees make bad decisions in games too...
yes but in a game like basketball, no matter how bad a call is, if you let it get so close that it comes down to a call, then you did not get the job done anyway.jord wrote:

I thought it was baseball, looks like you guys are going to see me in the 2012 Olympics.NantanCochise wrote:
I heard that in 2012 they are gonna get rid of softball from the Olympics because the US always wins and it is the only country that plays the sport seriously. Will they also abolish table tennis and badminton! More to come soon...
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
In Football a bellend can choose to give a penalty or not, and that can change the game in the oppositions favour. Nobody could have done anything wrong, it's just Football is a game where every goal counts.usmarine wrote:

if you stop them from scoring, the call does not matter.jord wrote:

in gymnastics, you can fall and still beat someone who didnt fall.
You can't stop a penalty really though...usmarine wrote:

Yeah but football is corrupt as hell, who knows to what level games are fixed. Better technological apparatus already exists but FIFA refuses to even consider using them. I suppose with less conflict in football, there would be no reason for such a large organization controlling the sport.
Have you been watching Olympic football or matches on Espn from the 90's?usmarine wrote:

They argue that TV, like it's used in Rugby would kill the soul of the game. What a bunch of corrupt fuckers.NantanCochise wrote:

Why is that article so biases? Is it written by a reader or something?Poseidon wrote:

It's simply saying that if all the judged events were removed since there's a clear bias going on, the medal count would be much more in the US's favor and the Gold medal count would be much closer.jord wrote:

They'll do anything to win or to make their country look good. It's really sad.usmarine wrote:
