Great body but the face don't please me. Maybe something from Ugly Bob would help?
actually, the US is ahead by four in the point count. (3 for gold, 2 for silver, 1 for bronze) I guess its not official for the olympics, but its how most other sport meets declare a winner.Mint Sauce wrote:

Unless they can prove the girl herself was involved, then her medal should not be taken away after the fact.

The Olympics is worked by gold. That's traidition.

and i realize that. i just thought it was an interesting tidbit to point out.
Agreed, the girls shouldn't be the moral authority. It should however be investigated. The worst punishment for the Chinese would be embarrassment. Of course that's likely to be cake on the IOC's face as well. They've received a lot of grief in there decision to have China host. I don't see them adding fuel to the heat they are already taking.Spark wrote:

Despite not taking the gold medal count I'm happy with our overall performance and the (renewed) excitement Phelps brought to the games.
It's not like we had a home field advantage or anything .

kmarion your sig is one bronze behind. at this point i kind of hope we don't win any more medals so we can sit at a perfect 100.
and the IOC should bust china's balls on this. what does it matter that they take heat? it'll safeguard the next few games from this kind of bullshit.

It matters to them (the heat). I was just saying that it's not likely because they have a respect that they to try and maintain. These are the same guys who did nothing with the Iranians refused to swim with the Israelis.

isn't very olympic now eh, your country got 100 medals total and you're still on 99, think of it this way:
what would Bush say...
Nope, still didn't work. Given your countries Olympic performance I'd say that's just about expected though.^*AlphA*^ wrote:

you could put us in your pocket when it comes to size! lovely boy!
tbh GB should be first but coz USA and China are bigger dey hav more people in it so they must hav more athleets participating
Sure but it only took a single American to get more golds than you and your pocket sized country.^*AlphA*^ wrote:

And so we can just send an unlimited amount of athletes/teams to each event now? insert>logic "just for fun"..Sup wrote:
Did some statistics, just for fun.
Inhabitants Slovenia: 2 028 630 every 405.726th person gets a medal.
Inhabitants USA: 303,500,000 every 3.035.000th person gets a medal.

If you would have won more medals the divider would be bigger thus more medals per population.Kmarion wrote:

"I don't think I've ever quite seen that," U.S. coach Guy Baker said. "What a great performance. ... It is up there with some of the great performances"

Because of the limited amount of people a country can send to each event, greater amounts of people (much greater tbh) are represented by a relatively fewer amount of athletes. Why don't you go ahead and work that figure out for China. .
