I havent seen X58 on any other UK site other than overclockers (though, that might be because I havent looked 8-)). What overclockers tend to do though is try and secure a large shipment of a new product, and whorde it at inflated prices. Other retailers have to fight over whatever supply was left, and even if they can offer it at a lower price, you can bet it's gone by the time you find it. As the supply come in, and, it looses it's, ZOMG ITS NEW I WANT IT!!!!! status, prices should settle.

VAT is also being cut in the UK tommorow I hear Though only by like 2.5%.

I plan on purchasing the Foxconn *Resistance mobo this Black Friday. The price is reasonable and debating whether I should run SLI on my new system....probably not.

UPDATE: *Renaissance

wtf the price of Asus P6T Deluxe jumped from 289€ to 314€ here. foxconn blood rage is looking more and more interesting as the price difference is not that big anymore to the "normal" x58 boards. (bundle etc is really kickass in the blood rage)

I had to RMA my Foxconn Renaissance mobo....can't run triple channel because one of the DIMM slots is bad sigh
The mobo was able to run In dual-channel. At stock speed, it top every Everest Benchmark score. I am impressed but now
I have to send it back to NewEgg for a replacement.

Can't wait to see how that Noctua looks completely set up. I really want a Noctua cooler even though it might sound strange I'd rather have a cooler over the X58 mobo

Hehe. The cooler will actually be the limiting factor for my overclocking although it is as good as it is. Core i7 just runs so hot at >3.6ghz.

But tbh who would need more? as software does not even fully support its features yet

yeah 6GB DDR3 here too, but then with the Thermalright S1366 cooler,
