Go into regional setting on your comp and put it to England.

changed, didnt work

Open that Regional and Language Options thing again. Click on the Language tab and click the Details button. Click the Add button beside Installed services and choose English UK as the input language and the keyboard layout (United Kingdom? or extended, I'm not sure).

And remove the yankee one like Reaper said.

ok, do you have XP???

if so on the bottom right of your screen is the task bar. Next to it on the left, outside the taskbar, should be something that looks like "EN". Click that and choose English (united kingdom)
