So I'm going to Uni in September, like most of you guys. Thought it would be a good idea to get some overtime at my work squeezed in before I head. So I went in today. Bearing in mind I only did 12 hours a week beforehand, I now have a 44 hour week. Great. Means a shitload of money though, about £900/mo so should be awesome. Certainly enough to fuel the many nights out that will inevitably end in hangovers.

So, tomorrow I'm doing an 8 - 4 shift. As long as I'm nowhere near a clock, I should be good. Bye bye to long gaming nights, bye bye to lie-ins. Work work work is the game now... urgh.

Anyone else working stupid hours to get some dosh before summer's over? Going to bed now

Yep, I work as a lifeguard and our supervisor is the biggest bitch I have ever met. She called last night at 1 in the morning telling us we had to make a 2 hour drive up to New Hampshire so we could babysit her kid at 7:30 this morning. Besides that, we have the worst work hours, we gotta do 10 hours of work 4 days a week, I don't even know if that's legal.

We have all been there mate. I was pulling 12 hours days during my days as a student. Just stick in there, you'll need the moeny more than you need to play games.

Anyway I now work 55-65 hour weeks so nothing changed...apart from how much i am paid.

Blackbelts are just whitebelts who have never quit.
