Personally, I think Sarah Palin stands a good chance at being his running mate. She's conservative enough to appease the base, while at the same time, her gender may attract bitter Clinton supporters. She would also bring a much needed youthful image to the campaign.
Poll

It's looking an awful lot like Tom Ridge right now. If he picks him, McCain might as well go ahead and write the concession speech because it will make the beating Carter took look like a close race.

Ted Stevens
lol... Stevens is so fucked... As I mentioned somewhere else, Pete Domenici is going to be most senior Republican in the Senate very soon.

I want to see him pick Lieberman so he truly gets fucked over.
Romney.
If he chose Rice it would be a death sentence to the Republicans. She may be a woman, and an African American, but it would be too obvious a ploy to counter Obama and his possible Clinton VP.
And I really think the best chance McCain has is to distance himself as much as possible from the current administration.

I despise Lieberman myself. He's the only reason why I wasn't that pissed at Gore losing back in 2000. Lieberman is even more of a hawk than Bush (or McCain for that matter).Poseidon wrote:

Same here. I hate Lieberman. Plus, the Dems DESPISE him. Any democrat who was a Hillary supporter and is now leaning towards McCain will lean right back towards Obama if Lieberman is his VP. It'd be hilarious.Turquoise wrote:

Hell, even the Jewish community hates Lieberman.
But they love Bloomberg...which is why it'd be awesome if Obama makes him his VP.
She already turned it down, but Condi would be cool. She's the perfect Republican - vapid and dismissive, completely in the pocket of the oil industry, and personally in love with GW (her "husband"). It would be sort of like how Buchanan in the Reform party threw the election entirely in 2000 with picking Ezola Foster and helped get Bush elected the first time around...ironically it would seal the deal for Obama this time.
McCain is already trying to lose the election in every way possible, why not add a Bushie black woman to the ticket?
BTW - If the racists only knew what a bigot Mrs. Foster was, I think they would have voted for their first black woman. She's a real piece of work. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ezola_B._Foster

She was arrested in 1987 with several other women while disrupting the state Republican convention to protest its recognition of the Log Cabin Club, an organization of gay Republicans. In 1992, she was a staunch defender of the police officers in the Rodney King beating case and organized a testimonial dinner for Laurence Powell, one of the convicted officers, in 1995.

Wow.
Wow.
Bobby Jindal would be great... The guy is super smart and i'm pretty sure he will be President in the not too distant future... another choice that isn't on the list Carla Fiorina(former HP CEO) she would be a good balance to McCain...
Love is the answer
