I woke up this morning and played about three full rounds of BF2 online, and after the fourth round began, the game simply shut down and it went into windows XP desktop. Someone told me that thise could be a memory leak, or something wrong with my computer.
Bf2 crashing randomly is nothing new, you can be over heating or it can just be bf2......
Memory leak, try adding "+lowPriority" to the end of your command line in the bf2 shortcut.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. I think you can sue EA if your game ever carshed.
jerks, but seriously if you search your topic you will find many, many help posts on the matter. It might require a little reading on your part, but I found everything I needed to fix mine. Turned out my graphics drivers were a year out of date lol. good luck.
