When the players see that Guus removes Lampard and Drogba, everyone stops thinking about the current game and starts thinking about the Liverpool game instead. They know that the game is won, and that the coach has started saving players for Tuesday's game. That's when all the goals come pouring in.
The midfield was especially bad, Mikel was shit and Deco as well. Anelka fell way too far back, allowing Bolton to bring players further up.
I wouldn't worry too much Liverpool have a big task to beat you by a 2-3 goal margin anyway
