Get real, Russia should have a big Ass placed on their flag for being such assholes to the world.  Them and Islam are the majority of things really fucking up the world.  They poisoned China and half of Asia with their failed ideology.  Look at China, communism has fail their too.  Hell they aren't even communists as much as a dictatorship with small penises and stupid scientists.

How is it that North America can be so peaceful and everyone across the pond can't keep their shit together without babysitting.

If the US wasn't in Europe the past 50 years it would have been part of Russia by now.  Just look at Asia.  Europe doesn't know how to have peace, look at history.  Too many appeasers that are willing to roll over to dictators and let them fuck up the area.

As usual this would not include England and a few other countries.

Even if it could, it wouldn't provide enough interceptors to stop a Russian ICBM attack. You're talking about (at most) a couple of dozen interceptors...against hundreds of inbound warheads. Many of those warheads targeted against the interceptor bases. It's simply not designed to stop that kind of scenario. It's designed to stop a handful (at most) of missiles aimed at Europe (in the case of the Poland scenario).

The motherland has PMS.

If Russia is so pissy it should just build it's own similar-sized missile shield and be done with it.  NATO is locking their front door, Russia's resonse is to wave around a crowbar and it is not appropriate.
