Eh, not particularly fond of those subnotebooks (that now every company is trying to make), but I can see the appeal for them. I tried one on display at Best Buy (it had XP, not Linux), it was interesting, but the tiny chiclet-sized keyboard was a pain in the ass to type on.

Dude, my hands are rather large and I am telling you it doesn't make that huge of a difference. If you're a good typist on a normal keyboard, you can pick up the EEE and be pretty quick in less than 10 minutes. After that it's just practice. I'm typing this post on the EEE right now.
