Yep, there are Apple updates in September usually. MacBooks have pretty much passed their new revision date line, which would suggest that new macbooks are coming in September also! (I'll be getting one, heh) New iPod Touches to look like 3G iPhones apparently, and of course iTunes 8. Regarding that, Digg posted some pictorial rumours.

I went the standard iPod path: Mini -> Video -> Touch

I think I'll sell the touch and get a Samsung YP-P2, though.

I don't know what happened to it exactly.. I think after I got one of my Creative players I put it in a drawer and, like everything else I put in drawers, it wasn't there when I went back to find it.

There was one day I left it in my backpack during rock climbing after school and someone stole the case off of it, not the mp3 player itself. I didn't know whether to be happy or sad because it was a clear plastic case that snapped on in two parts. It wasn't flashy, didn't add to the size much, and worked really well. At that point they were discontinued, and I was sad.

Mini was awesome, so solid, however the battery got fucked up fast. My Zen's screen fucked up, then it broke.

Yeah, the first couple rounds of iPods had such shitty battery life.

My first gen nano got like, maybe 2 hours...I remember I'd take it on the bus to school and I'd have to charge it every day. Then I got the second gen nano and it could last me a week without charging.

Now I've got the iPhone and it lasts a while, but I charge it every day regardless, so it doesn't matter.

Sure, mine's covered in scratches. Doesn't bother me though.
