According to you she also has more experience at running government than McCain.  So why isnt she the number 1 on the ticket?

According to McCain, thats why Obama SHOULDNT have beaten Hillary Clinton.  Now he's fucked.

I think you are taking a loss for a win.  But we'll see.

She's also from one of the smallest states population wise.  Even though she's a governer its not saying much.
He's not fucked. He's just now in a position to tell Obama to gtfo with his "new approach" (which amounted to about 95% of the reason to vote for him). Although bringing a 35 year Washington insider on as his VP did that anyways.

Do you think it is pure chance that the GOP waited for the Dems to make their pick and have their convention? I don't think so. The GOP political machine is rolling full speed ahead.

I laughed my ass off at his pick. I loved it!

This pretty much puts Obama and all of his CHANGE bullshit ( that still hasn't been revealed) out to pasture, and removes all wind from those already old ass sails.

She is a woman so their are the man hater votes, she is a conservative, so there are the conservative votes, she is from Alaska so there are the tree hugger votes, she is pro-gun so there are the gun owner votes. She is pretty good lookin so there are shallow votes. ( Hey if you can vote for Obama because he is black I can vote for McCain because he has a hot running mate.

Oh lord.

Anyone who knows anything about Joe Biden knows hes a great guy who is not just the average politician.  Obamas bringing a new direction.  The only reason Palin was picked is because 1. She's a woman, and 2. She's got a clean track record.

Compared to McCain, Obama, or Biden she has practically zero experience.  Obama served in the state legislature in Illinois.

It's funny to see all you guys and stingray saying this actually hurts Obama somehow.  How, exactly?  McCain fucking did a 180 turn.  COMPLETELY.  Within two weeks.

I like you Kmarion and you're a smart dude but I think you're very wrong on this one.  The Republicans realized that they can't stop Obama, especially when he's got Joe Biden backing him up with foreign policy and defense experience, which is the only thing Obama lacks.  Biden is NOT the same kind of politician as Hillary or whoever the fuck else, regardless of what the righties are trying to make him out to be.

So the only thing left was to act like they can bring the change that the Dems are looking for, and its apparently working.  GG HF  GOP propaganda machine.  Apparently when you cant swift boat someone you just act like your fighting for the same thing they are, only more of it.  rofl.

Dont even compare Barack Obama to Sarah Palin.  TBH it makes you look like an idiot.  You obviously dont even know the two people.  The fact they are both fresh and new does not make them comparable.

It's kinda sad that the polls have Virginia as a dead tie, considering it was Bush with an 8 point lead there in both '04 and '00.

If he can get either VA, OH or FL (McCain's lead plummeted the past few weeks there...only 1.2 points up now), he's got it.

It's about McCain being a hypocrite. Bashing Obama for his lack of experience and then picking someone as a VP with even less.

Makes absolutely no sense.

Some of us actually know better. How can you sit there and preach about how you (Obama) never supported the war and then put someone on your ticket who did? It looks like Mr. Judgment has got quite the predicament. The Junior senator lacks in every area. I'm sorry but that's just an undeniable fact. Tbh I like Obama. But that's not going to blind me into ignoring the areas he lacks in. Actually, at least Palin has had some experience in commanding a military force (the AK national guard). It's not much, but more than Barry O'. Biden is the same type of Washington politician, they come in many varieties. One of those varieties is a pompous screaming party loyalist.

10 bucks says Obama is kicking his own ass for not dragging Hitlery along for the ride.

Besides, if "CHANGE" is what is needed, why can't McCain/Palin bring it? Better to vote for them than to vote for Obama because OPRAH said so.

The best things now are McCains commericals using Hillary and Biden slamming Obama...I love love love it.

Yes, that's why he CHOSE Biden, so he could help him IN THAT AREA!

Obama chose Biden to help him in areas he lacked.

McCain chose Palin to get votes.

After reading up on Paulin, I have to say that McCain made a good choice. Palin has a good track record as well as doing what is best for her state. Her reformation of several Alaskan committees puts her in a good light. If it came down between Obama and McCain (I am still heavily for Ron Paul) then I would choose McCain because of Palin.

So would she be better off being a senator from one of the smallest states population and size wise?  i.e. Joe Biden, Senator of Deleware

Edit --->  On a side note, I kinda wish she was running for President instead of McCain.

That's my view ... I don't even want McCain on the Pub ticket at all.  I think McCain and Obama are both very poor choices, and Biden should make a Dem's skin crawl (VP??????  The public hates him for President, clearly from the primaries).
