I want to delete video (audio left untouched) from a part of a clip, but i dont know how to do this... thx
Up top, you'll see a little button... "Ignore Event Grouping"
click that and you will then be able to delete just the video. (by right clicking it)
If you just want to delete video from only one part and leave the rest intact, you can simply put the new video (that you will be using to replace that section with) in the Overlay Video track directly above the undesired section.
Tracks work like "Layers" in PhotoShop. Whatever is in the Overlay Track will 'cover over' the Video Track.
Or... at the mark in that you want to start the "cut" hit S to split, then find the end of the "cut" and hit S again to split again. Ignore Event Grouping, then right click and delete the section of video. Now you'll have nothing but music in that sectionof the video.
Probably want to unclick the "Ignore Event Grouping" when you're done.
I hope that makes sense... it's late and I'm tired.

No problem
*cough* Should have got Premier *cough*
Also, you can select the clip you want and hit U. This will ungroup it from the audio. Highlight multiple clips and group them together with G, they will all move together.
