Oh my jesus, this is going to be a long one (ok not as long as I thought). Bear with me.
Amplitude (sequel to Frequency)
Frequency (music/rhythm game; the very first one made by Harmonix, of GH fame)
GTA games (III, VC, SA) (SA lasted me 100 hours on the first playthrough, and I've since gone through it again on PC)
Guitar Heroes (for obvious reasons)
Manhunt (a bit underrated IMO; I love stealth games, and this has been the only game where I've come close to shitting my pants)
Metal Gear Solids (2, 3) (once again, I love stealth games; #3 has some of the most intense and memorable boss battles in gaming history)
Ratchet & Clanks (1, 2, 3, Deadlocked) (AMAZING platformer, and it gets quite epic as it goes along; my opinion of best to worst: 2, 3, 1, 4)
Rez (a rail shooter that's also a music experience; for the love of all that is holy, go here to see some vids)
Shadow of the Colossus (third-person action game; it's just a series of epic and astounding boss battles)
Zone of the Enders 2 (a bit short, but nonetheless a really great-looking anime-style robot smash-'em-up)
All of these games, and more, have lasted me the past 8 years. And in fact I still play them to this very day. They never get old for me, especially the MGS's and the R&C's. It's a brilliant system with brilliant games. Play all those I listed, you won't be let down.
