Best Binders for School?

Kay, so I'm going back to school tommorow (bleh...) and this is more of a question for those that've already gone through school,

What's the best brand/style of binder to use for Gradeschool(Gr 10)

I've managed to salvage what's left of last years binders and can use those for a week or 2, but I'm going to order new ones online, and need somewhere to start the search,

Standard 3 ring binders are terrible cuz the rings bend apart then pages fall out and rip and it's a pain.

I'm looking for online links that Ship to Canada and Take Paypal.

P.S.
No I won't get a Laptop, Staples actually had a sale that ends tomorrow where they had an HP TabletPC for $799 + 12% tax, but I can;t afford ~$1000 and I go to a school with alot of stealing and the like so laptops are out of the question

three-rings work well, just make sure to have some reinforcements for those moments where they rip

or you could just go one step ahead and buy five-star notebooks, the newer ones have a cloth cover over the spirals so they don't get tangled on stuff

Yeah, after googling some(Anything with the word binder returns 100000000 results that have nothing to do with binders, so finding anything is tough)
I've found that I'll probably just do what I've always done,
I usually get 2 2" binders, One for ABCD blocks, another for EFGH, and I'm used to that,

But about half way through the year, one of 3 things happens, a)The rings unbend cuz I accidentally drop the binder in the wrong way, b)it breaks from overstuffing, or c) A plethora of other things that mess up my day.

I'm trying to get away from the whole 3-Ring binder thing simply because of that, but it seems there is nowhere else to go.

this seems to be working my first week in college:

x number of five star notebooks (dependent on your classes, try to have one for each section)
an expanding file folder, try and get a section per class
something like this:

Oooooooooh,

Although I'm not really liking the Notebook Idea, the expandable folder just gave me a place to put my stuff from when I clean out the binders, with them always getting full, every couple weeks I go and clean out the biggest subject tabs, everything but the current unit used to go into it's own Plastic page protector.

Those shall now be replaced by The expanding folders, Karmaz.

Just a binder man, doesn't matter... buy the plain cheap on thats costs about a buck, then buy another one later.

The only think I have found that makes a difference is to get one where the rings attach to the back of it, rather then on the spine, because the ones with the rings on the spine curl the edge of your page around the ring...

Then just throw those little divider things in it that have the flap to tuck papers into it...

But really just buy what ever, or re-use what you have... its a binder, not that important or high tech.

just take care of your shit. i've never had a problem with binders breaking at the rings and i'm rough as hell with em. clean it out at semester or quarter or whatever. just clean it out. use the side pockets for things that won't be in there for very long, like the next day's homework.

i could never get behind the expandible folders. too much effort to store something.
