15 I disagree with BH/DD/GL

even though I do BH when reloading and DD when I'm one on one with a sniper

It all depends on what you consider bunny hopping and dolphin diving...

If i jump once and go prone is that dolphin diving? Or is it when i jump, prone, jump, prone, jump, prone, etc...

I think it depends on the degree of bunny hoping and dolphin diving...

im 15 i agrees with GL but not the other 2

definately against the hopping and dolphining, the tube is questionable because i had a tendency to point blank GL vehicles.

16, agree with the use of a grenade launcher. Not the other two.

Well the strange thing is that I use the GL, but I dont whore it.

I jump, but I dont jump more than once (twice if its a CQC claymore sniper :\).

Dolphin diving is useless.


When I was trying for my veteran assault badge, I used the GL, but it was more for a scatter and spread effect then I'd go in and shoot everyone up.

fact of the matter is, is that bunny hopping and dolphin diving are exploits they were not ment to be done by the designers and they tried to take it out as much as possible but people still do it.  using the gl there is nothig wrong with that but it is annoying that someone will run up to sometimes and just shoots at the ground.  and to the guy that says dolphin diving is realistic try it in you yard and tell me you can do that without moving your arms and shooting the instant you hit the ground

17. I BH and DD during combat to avoid getting killed in 2 seconds. Usually when I play assault I take the G3 kit, so I'm not too experienced with the GL.

what does age have to do with liking BH, DD and GL??

against BH and DD. I consider myself a good player, not a "uber pwnerer" but a good player and I dont do BH and DD.. only DD when a tank is shooting at me but its the only case. I think that you can kill the other guy without having to dance like a fag.

I hate being killed by a flying pancake fag so I dont do it against other people. Same thing with BH of course

About the GL, I use it rarely. As you will be able to see in my stats, ive 185 gl kills out of 23 500 kills. I dont whine about ppl that use it except if they abuse and use it as their primary weapon.

I dislike bunny-hopping, but mainly because it looks stupid.  BF2 tries for a certain amount of realism.  It's not a simulator or anything, but that spark of realism is one of the reasons people play it.  To see some fool bouncing around constantly screws with that.

I've no problem with people who start jumping when they come under fire, in an effort to get to cover, but people who jump all the time, as their main mode of travel, are just being foolish.  I played sniper on Operation Harvest recently, and a whole clan on the other team (about 5 guys) were bunny-hopping religiously.  The problem for them is that the arc of someone's jump is totally predicatble.  Since you're not on the ground, you can't randomly change direction.  If you're bunny hopping, I know exactly where you're going to land, and *BLAM*, M95 to the head.  I got a a gold medal, with almost 80 points, and nearly all through rifle or claymore kills.  So far as I'm concerned, bunny-hopping is bad for your health.

I've no problem at all with grenade launcher use.  It's a weapon.  It's one of the benefits of the Assault kit.  If people know how to use it, then let them.  I've seen people start kick-votes against guys because they're using the GL.  Madness!  Do people try and kick medics for using the shock-paddles?  Or  Spec-Ops for using C4?  Deal with it!
