SATA 2 cables?

I'm going to get http://www.ebuyer.com/product/124228 (WD 500GB SATA 2 HDD) and I want to know whether its worth forking out the extra fiver for a SATA 2 cable as i already have a sata 1 cable from my current WD 160 gb (now 150) due to a bad sector (hence why its being replaced).

A simple yes or no will suffice.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. The SATA 2 interface is faster, but the cable is the same.

Actually, technically speaking, there isn't really a SATA 2.

But, as far as labeling goes, the only difference between a SATA and SATA 2 cable, is that SATA 2 usually have a little metal clip thingy that makes the cable more secure to the SATA port. That's all. No speed difference, no compatibility difference.

Some have red plastic round the cables. Some have transparent plastic round the cables. Some are even glow in the dark.
