It odd that the democrats treat him as some sort of presidential God. If he had been able to restrain himself from being involved in Hillaries campaign she would have stood a better chance.

While it is trendy to blame everything on George Bush the fact is Bill Clinton signed a massive overhaul of the banking regulation in 1999. One could argue that is a large part of why we are where we are at.

Our government has always been prohibited by the Posse' Comitatis Act from using military weaponry upon American citizens.  Early in his Administration, Clinton tested this prohibition at Waco, using M-1 Abrams tanks and other heavy military equipment -- along with military tactics -- against men, women, and children, slaughtering almost all of them.

He was a liar.

What Clinton says ..........................What he really means
I was not lying. .............................I was standing up and she was lying.
I wasn't adultery....................................... She wasn't even an adult.
I did not have oral sex with her........................................... She was having it with me.
It is time to get on with the nations' business............................... If this isn't off the front page by tomorrow, I'm bombing Iraq.

The majority of your post appears to be bitching about the blowjob. I'm sure he did a lot of things worse than that.

I did read the OP, but what I'm saying is you have 5 lines on a legitimate point, and then 7 on a crap one.

No 7, and then jokes about his questionable moral legacy.

Ignoring that though, do you have anything on the criticisms of the bill? Reading the article it sounds like the bill was popular with both Dems and Repubs.

What really gets me about every one that praises Clinton is the fact that they were in bed with China.

Helps to read your own sources also ATG ...

article wrote:

This legislation is truly historic and it indicates what can happen when Republicans and Democrats work together in a spirit of genuine cooperation," Clinton said at a White House signing ceremony. The event brought together the president and several Republican members of Congress who have been among Clinton's sternest critics -- a sign of the bipartisan support that eventually developed for the package.
But aside from that how was this bill in particular the source of the banking crisis now i wonder, what took it nearly 10 years to develop ?

What really gets me about everyone who condemns Clinton is that fact that they were in bed with Iraq and Afghanistan (and still in bed with Saudi Arabia).

Short memories here in BF2S.

Do Democrats actually consider Clinton to be a great president? Or is it one of those things like how all liberals support OBL?

Clinton knew how to balance a budget and that's pretty evil if you ask me ...

The real liberals in the US would not think very highly of Clinton.  He was a very conservative Democrat.

So, if a president signs a bill that was drafted and voted by a united Congress, he's to blame?

He did have line item veto.  And I guarentee it wasn't what the Repubs wanted, Clinton wouldn't have signed.

Yep, along with Congress.

Of course, Billy played well with Congress.  Compare that with current and you see what happens to the overall approval ratings of both.
