BF2S Forums Bill Clinton DID suck

As long as the heads-of-state in our country are in bed with corporate capital and military-industrial interests there will be no "good" presidents.  The people (me and you) need to force our elected officials to be accountable to US, not to monied interests.

They all suck, and the guardians of the system (police state, media, etc) relish in the fact that people digest, swallow, then regurgitate the bullshit they feed to the public.

But please, let's keep talking about how much Clinton and/or Reagan sucked instead of holding the factions responsible for most government policy accountable

the taliban fled to other countries, then iraq.  now they are trying to go back to afghan.  its what you do.  you dont let them entrench, you keep them moving.  but i suspect you know a lot about combat.

Yeah I guess the U.S Department of Defense Official Website is a sketchy source at best.

Of course they fight together, they have a common enemy. If anything the war on terror has made their ties stronger, but they have certainly not molded into one group or into indistinguishable splinter cells.

Oh really? Ok, lets see here. Clinton did a whole lot to get Bin Laden after the attack of the USS Cole. Clinton really showed his leadership in the Battle of Mogadishu oh, and lets not forget that liitle act he pased with Senator Torricelli that prohibited counter intelligence agents from putting anyone with a criminal background on their payroll. No sir, that didn't dry up field intelligence at all and lead to a series of attacks on Sept 11.  Ok, see my point? GWB is as usefull as a bowling ball in a hockey game but lets not dismiss Clinton's fuck ups. At least Bush has the balls to stand up despite what people think of him (or maybe he is just that stupid) and do what he thinks is right. Clinton was a fucking coward who swept shit under the carpet to preserve his image and it cost us big later on.

How can you actually claim what lead and what didn't lead to 911 and the two wars after that, when you first are on the road of speculations you can just as easily follow that road back to Bush Sr. and maybe even further than that ...
