Not much information has been released regarding Apple's latest event, entitled "Let's Rock". An iPod event, naturally (Apple released the below picture) but apart from that now much is known. MacBooks are past their average due update date, so I'm hoping that new MacBooks will be released!

If I have done my timezones correctly, the event starts in just over 2 hours. Let's see what is in stock! Here's the potential new Nano ... personally I don't like it:

Meh, Apple. Probably just a new colour on the iPhone.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

- iTouch got Nike+, which nobody will use

Hmm, it wasn't as great as I thought it would be but: Nike+ is amazing, I am really tempted to get one because I do a lot of running and find it hard to get the right type of music. Genius sounds pretty cool, and iPhone 2.1 firmwire improves lots of bugs and battery life.

yeah, Nike+ is cool, but you wouldn't run around with an iTouch, would you? Imagine trying to hit the correct button (lap for example) on a touch sensitive screen while running and exhausted. Nike+ only works on Nanos and Classics, imo.

I have the nike+ wristband and the pedometer you put in your shoe and it's great. Couldn't imagine using a Touch with it though.

Which I don't need, since my volume is usually 90-100%

I assume 2.1 removes jailbreak? In that case, I'll wait.
