Then they just started laying people with broken arms and legs out on the dirt. At one point they laid down a tarp and there was two ladies on it with little attention and in the corner of the picture there was this mangled body, face down in a puddle of blood. I watched him move, then stop moving. Alone left to die. There were plenty of firemen and paramedics around there and they did nothing. Then they kept walking past the guy, and just staring at him, then walking away. There was a blanket sitting right next to the body and it took about 30 people to walk by before they decided ot cover him.
I saw people just wandering around dazed and the firemen and policemen just seemed like they were walking around in circles doing nothing. I believe many of these people could have lived if they were not ignored and they were rescued sooner, if the firemen wernt to lazy as to start pulling them out immediatly.
They say at this time there is a approaching 20 dead.
I watched this live from the beginning. And all I have to say is the fire department did a disgusting job. The front of the Metrolink had a little fire, and they seemed to be walking around next to the car and it took a good 10-15 minutes to walk the hose up to the train to start. They should have ran into the back opening of the train and started pulling people out.
