A few minutes ago I was on kubra dam and the round had just started, I was MEC. I'd spawned in the power station area for the tank and was heading over to it when its occupied. Occupied by a guy called [DWW]FAVORITTEN or something like that. Now this was about 5-10 seconds into the round and he was capping one of the dams bases. So is there some kind of teleport hack or did the game glitch up?
Wasn't this something to do with that squad glitch which causes players to be able to spawn at enemy bases? Or is it connected to the red tag glitch? I swear I heard *something* about this.
Are you talking about 5-10 seconds after the "Commander Election has started" countdown had ended or 5-10 seconds after your PC loaded up the map? If the latter, remember that people with uber PC's can get on very quickly and play, my mate's PC can get him onto the map and right across it before most other people's systems catch up...
It was about 5-10 seconds after the map loaded, but my pc is pretty fast and were talking a huge distance here. I dont think he could have made the distance in a jet that fast. And i saw no signs of aircraft crashing or anything to suggest someone else got there before me.
I don't know your specs and don't have the benefit of seeing your system but my system is pretty good and I'm usually the first one on (SF maps) but my friend can get a quarter way across the map in a slow moving tank before I spawn off him. No I'm used to being first on so it is scary how fast his PC boots the maps up and consider if you used an ATV.Chao2 wrote:

I can almost cap 2 flag on Mashtuur city before the other players are in the map... so my best guess is, he has a lot of RAM and he is close to the server and end up being in the map before most people.
No cheat there...
I have a P4 HT 3.4GHz and 2G of RAM 400Mhz dual channel.

I'm going to agree with Buzerk1...
I have the same set up and am usually in the map 1st and have pings right around 12-14 on average... Sometimes I have to check the scores list to make sure everyone is still there.

WE get two flags on karkand before most players on MEC dont have a skull and xbones next to them so no I dont think its a "cheat",,, how do you know if 2 people spawned fast and he ejected out the bomber ?? the US base is close for that to happen ... it was kubra wasnt it ? we can some times get to the MEC planes first by this and have the advantage of three planes vs their one... I am almost always in a server first for awhile, long enough to RUN to the first flag (hotel) and neutral it ...Before dying(my fav pastime)

Hmmm i guess its possible, it still seems strange though as i'm not used to spawning and finding someone there when i'm so far away from the action.
Ah well i guess there was no real evidence to suggest it...

I have 2 gig ram and usually get in first, I've gotten as far as the first flag in karkand using a HMMVW before anyone else spawned, but I doubt i'd get anywhere further.
Maybe he took a chopper and parked it somewhere nearby and then jumped out?

maybe it's the i have 4gb of memory hack?
maybe this guy is hosting this server .... so.....

it takes around 15 seconds to get the transport helo up to the Kubra power station close enough for someone to parachute out and grab the tank.
Yep... that must be it...s4vior6 wrote:

Nah 4gb hack isnt possible in theory, cuz Amount of memory more than 2gb does not make any change..
I can be mistaken, no offence. Sometimes it happens that when you change your team right in the end of a round you will be able to spawn on your previous team spawn points(only once, before you die), but be in an opposing force.

Map loading is all about hard drive speed and RAM, so if you have a sweet system, but are running an IDE hard drive, people will still load the map long before you do.
If someone has a sweet rig with fast (15000 rpm) SATA drives, then it wouldn't be hard to cover most of a map before even above average rigs load the map. Nevermind picking your spawn and kit, finding a vehicle or hoofing it to where you are going.
Edit: Having more than 2 gigs of RAM does help with BF2, I'm up to 3 gig sticks, running a 2.0 64-bit, and a 7800 GT, and when I went from 2 to 3, I noticed a significant difference in load times, and has eliminated almost all hiccups. Can't rid of server lag no matter how much RAM you have in your system.

lol wait prolly I'm wrong and 4gb affect the loading time more than 2gb. But why do ou call it 4gb hack? Hack? If guy has 4gb of memory that doent mean that hes a hacker, that means that he waste his money alot, or work with complex graphic multimedia systems. I wont call this guy a hacker cuz he has a better comp. I'm unhappy with my 512 Mb :'(
ummm what did I say lol

I've seen this before. An ememy at the start of the map spawned on the carrier and started c4ing blackhawks. The server had a 40 second delay to when the round starts to allow slow computers to catch up. I spawned and heard a boom and though wow that sounded like it was beside me and looked and saw xperson c4 then 5 guys then boom me and 4 more died. he must have gotten 15 or so before he died. I was thinking hmmm would be nice to know how to do for the c4 veteran and expert badge .

Star-Trek has teleports. BF2 has high-flying choppers, that you couldn't see.
I'll give you a hint. It starts with an "s" and ends with "arcasm".Dr.Battlefield wrote:

I knew a glitch that allowed you to spawn at enemy bases, but I think it was patched out with 1.03 or 1.12
Yep i think his puter is pretty fast , and dont forget his connection speed. My last connection upgrade took me from 4mb download/750 upload to 9mb download/1mb upload. The 1mb upload is awesome and has really improved how fast I get into servers usually 1st or 2nd on my side.
