Right now I'm filling out the Virginia Tech online application. I've run into a bit of an impasse.

It's asking me to list the courses I'm taking this year. However, some titles don't fit into the space they provide (the text fields don't allow unlimited characters, fail). What should I do? For example, one of my courses is "Conflict in Modern History." That doesn't fit. Should I just type as much as possible, or try and abbreviate it? I was thinking the latter but then I'm scared an admissions officer would see "Cnflct in Mdrn Hstry" and think I'm an idiot. I know they get our official transcript which has full course names though.

I asked my counselor by e-mail but he hasn't responded

lol, if Mike Vick can get in, you can

check out the entire application before you start filling it out. There may be another place to add your courses, or squeeze them in in a general description area

like none of the state schools seem to have their shit on the common app

thankfully, the Common App has enough space for me to list the names in full, along with credit amounts for each class.

@Loki he might've gotten in with an athletic scholarship, something I won't get
