All that being said, we don't just leave. We recoup our costs by seizing their oil fields until this is done. Nationalize their industry until we get all our money back.

Funny you mention because here in Ingerland, there's never anything showing about actual oil being pulled specifically by those who led the invasion. Iraq exports a fraction of the amount that the Saudis and Russians export.
We do get a handsome amount of oil from Iraq, but not much compared to other countries. According to the Department of Energy, these were our major imports in July 2008 (in thousands of barrels I believe)

Well I hope this doesn't mean that we should put the Iraqi people's needs ahead of US citizens. Sure I was for waging war against Iraq, but with the way this war was handled and the amount of money it costs, I honestly find it to be a huge mistake. To try to play that stating it was a mistake is disrespecting the soldiers and their service is no different than the peaceniks spouting that people who support the war are baby killers....
I honestly think the results of the war are great and that the Iraqis are better off. I feel that the war has and will continue to fight and stop terrorism. But I don't feel that collapsing the US economy and mortgaging my childs future for some fucking dust bowl was the right thing to do.

Although this soldier's opinion is entirely valid (obviously) the style and tone of the video is very cynical. God Save The Queen supports Obama but he hasn't suffered the loss of a limb and subsequently made a video about his personal political opinions, does that mean his opinion doesn't count as much? All these videos do is bolster the opinions of those who have already made their mind up on these issues.

I agree with both sides on the issue. When we went in we had a goal and got it done. By the time I went their, we were marking time with our thumbs up our asses.

The video was pretty shallow. It already sent the message before the message was explained. Obama doesn't respect the troops, if you don't support the war, you don't support the troops, blah blah blah.
